We first heard about Flesia through a message from Nino of Lower Class Kids Records. Just a SoundCloud link. Three tracks and the cover artwork.
The artwork caught us immediately, so we listened. Then listened again. And again.
We reached out to the band and things came together very naturally. Only later in the process we realized: no guitars? Bass, drums, voice. That’s it.
Not as a concept or a gimmick, but simply because that is what felt right for them.
We also learned later that the artwork is created by Geleeregen and that 45 TIm handled mix and master. None of this was used as selling points. No name-dropping (that’s our job now!).
Just the music and the visual world around it.
Everything else revealed itself afterwards.
