Kollektiv Raumordnung is a new collaborative multi-media, multi-genre art project led by Moritz Fabian (Eremit, θoʊθ, Dragged, Moral Rot, Drei Gleichen). The collective currently consists of over 20 artists of different crafts; among them a wide variety of musicians, as well as authors, photographers, visual artists, illustrators, models and costume designers.
Raumordnung aims to bring together different genres of music and diverse types of artists to create a unique experience taking place in a Sci-Fi setting.
The debut record Stewards of Eon is encompassing sonic realms of War Metal, Dark Ambient, Opera as well as Power Electronics and Psy Trance. These often only separately existing genres are coming together for a holistic sonic release which will be accompanied by a graphic novel.
Lore-wise, Raumordnung is a twin-entity to the german Doom outfit Eremit, which is well-known for their grand storytelling. Raumordnung is set to tell a dismal, heart-breaking story taking place in the same universe.
Inspirations for this project were drawn from bands and artists like: Lingua Ignota, Full of Hell, Tsutomu Nihei, Chelsea Wolfe, Caldon Glover, and Antichrist Siege Machine.
